About Me
As a mother of 3 beautiful daughters, I appreciate the organisation and calm execution of a well thought out plan and the positive affect it has on a day. And it is these ingredients, which make up the foundation of working with me. A journey of thorough detail to cover every aspect of the design planning process.
Born in Spain, raised in the UK and having travelled to several countries over the years, I have gained a love and greater appreciation for colour, culture and diversity. My love for art and design began from a young age where I studied cultural art and focused my attention on the incredible work from the famous Spanish architect Gaudi. His spectacular use of mosaics within the Parc Guell in Barcelona oozes with inspiration and brings me fresh ideas of different colours used together. The famous ‘festival of flowers’ also known as ‘the festival of courtyards’ celebrated in Cordoba, Southern Spain is filled with what is my personal favourite flower a Red Carnation, also known as the Spanish national flower.
My passion for working with flowers started 8 years ago, when I was drafted in by my friend (who was working with a limited budget) to help with the planning and implementation of her wedding. Claudia was struggling with creative ideas and was in need of a floral designer and with my then, limited knowledge, up I stepped. The turnaround time of bringing her day together was just 3 weeks and the result was more than she dreamed for.
Ever since then I have gone on to work for numerous friends, family and recommended clients creating dream floral bespoke pieces for weddings, christenings, birthdays, special occasions such as, valentine’s day and corporate events. I have an accredited diploma in Floral and Event Styling which was completed with the UK Academy of Wedding and Event Planning. I am now living my personal dream, of turning my passion into a full-time career.
